HAPPY 2012!

Aloha my fellow readers...or dare I say more realistically...family members...the odds is probable. Well happy New Year's to anyone reading this I wish you the best for the new year. I am not quite sure what brought me back to this blog because I have not really been keeping up with it I am sorry to say. However maybe I will make my New Year's resolution to blog at least once a week just to update things. I love to be nostalgic and look at my posts from back in '09. Oh the memories. I have just gotten back from Thailand a couple of days ago and had the best time. I smile on my recollections of that foreign, distant land. It was a trip of firsts, I might add. I got to cross a couple of things off my bucket list. Among them: riding an elephant and going jet skiing. Other things that I experienced was riding on a ferris wheel that spun, eating frog and jellyfish, watching fireflies in the night, visiting the floating market and a natural hot spring, archery, feeding sheep, and so much more. I had an awesome time and can't wait until my next trip there. (: A DASH OF NUTMEG...

Hola freaks! This is Megan..duh. Anyways I just realized, well not just but this blog has really turned into a place where I just share my thoughts with the world. I'm going to be a senior in high school next year which is insane off the chain! I'm so stoked. I have to complete a summer assignment for AP English Lit which is kind of underwhelming to say the least. Tomorrow I'm probably going to have a little get together at my house to watch Pretty Little Liars which I'm obsessed with at the moment. So I suppose that's all for now folks. Aloha!

WHAT TIME IS IT!?

Summer Time! haha Anyways, this summer has been quite spectacular I've been having a great time just chillin like a villian around town. I hung out with my friends a couple weeks ago and we went to breakfast together at The Original Pancake House which was tres delicious! We had breakfast to celebrate the return of my good friend Baci. (: Before that though we saw Toy Story 3 which was a very good movie and it made me tear up a bit. So lately I've been working on my summer assignments and I'm scared I won't finish, but I'm sure I'll get it done somehow. I'm already stressing out for my 3 AP classes next year: AP US History, AP English, and AP Art History. I'll be a junior next year and I've heard that's the hardest year in high school. Well I guess that's all for now. Buh Bye.

Fifteen

Well, this is going to be the last post I make as a fifteen year old. That's slightly depressing to think about. haha Anyways, fifteen was a good year. I had loads of fun memories and good times. I must say that I am looking forward to being sixteen. Hopefully this year will be even better. (:

Bonfires & Waves

Last night I hung out with a group of friends at Balboa Pier in Newport Beach. We had a bonfire going and just had fun being silly and goofing off. There was music, laughter, and of course, s'mores. Sadly this is the last weekend I'll be spending with my friend Lisa, who I will miss very very much, because she's moving back home to Germany. She moves back on my birthday, May 6th, this upcoming Thursday. So, as much as I am looking forward to my sweet 16, I am sad that Lisa is leaving so soon. auf Wiedersehen,

Hey there! It's been a while...I'm not quite used to blogging anymore. What's been up with me you ask? Well, to be honest nothing much. I really can't think of anything relatively interesting to say. Um my sixteenth birthday is in less than a month now! That sure is exciting. I have to work on getting my drivers permit though ): Watch out world!

Under The Sea (:

Hey guys. Well tonight is my high school's winter formal and the theme is under the sea. I'm not going to the dance because I didn't really feel like going and the tickets cost soo much (like 100 dollars). Some of my friends going and they're super excited so I hope everyone has tons of fun tonight. Also, I think its really cute because it's kind of raining and then if you listen to Taylor Swift's song, Fearless, then it would make more sense as to why I think its really cute. haha I'm pretty sure that sentence didn't make any sense at all, but it's whatever. Happy New Year! Well this is the last week of winter break for me :(, but I'm kind of glad because I miss having a routine. Anyways, I've had tons of free time and I've read two new books in the immortals series by Alyson Noel. I read Evermore and Blue Moon and they were both decent. Not quite as good as the Hunger Games, but still pretty darn good. I still need to finish reading Catching Fire (the sequel to The Hunger Games)...back to the subject...um so I read these two books and they're pretty amazing. They're about the journey of a teenage girl, Ever Bloom, and her soul mate, Damen Auguste, and basically there journey through past lives and the present. I'm currently reading the third book in the series, Shadowland, and its off to an okay start.
Also, I've hanging out with my family a lot and yesterday my sister, dad, and I went ice skating at a local ice rink and we had tons of fun. I cut my leg pretty badly in two places from the skates and fell only once so that was beyond amazin'. Okay well that's all folks! haha

Remember December

Well today is December 1st and it already feels like winter. It was freezing today! Oh my. Tomorrow I start kayaking at school and I'm really excited, but it will be sooo cold. haha Winter is my favorite season because you can get all bundled up and drink hot drinks like hot chocolate or tea. Also, winter fashion!Free People has some amazing looks that I fell in love with. I'll post a picture. I'm really excited for Christmas and winter break...only 3 more weeks! Sorry I've been slacking,

Update!

Hey! I haven't made a post since forever so here's a quick update on what I've been up to. I had an amazing Halloween with my friends (I was a sailor!). I have just recently been quarantined until Monday. I'm so alone right now. My family's taking great care of me. I'm sitting here doing my homework and looking at some street style blogs. I just got the new November catalog for Free People (one of my favorite brands) and I am patiently awaiting the arrival of the December issue of Teen Vogue. Post a comment! How was your Halloween?

Hey everyone! Well school has started and the parties begin! Today my friend is having his 16th birthday party and yesterday me and my friend abbey went to Target to go shopping for a present. it was super duper fun and target had soooooo much candy for halloween out. i wanted to just eat it all up. well i can't tell you guys what it is but the present is AMAZING! abbey and i also made a card and it is just lovely. ill post a picture tomorrow. hope you guys are having a great fall! 'tis very late, but I'm revising my Salem Witch Trials essay after studying for math and histoire. ehhh my day off was pretty good. I went to South Coast Plaza with the fambam and we enjoyed lunch at The Clubhouse. The food was delish (: haha

Avalon High by Meg Cabot

I recognized him at once--not just because he was so tall, and there aren't a lot of guys who are taller than me, but also because he had such a distinctive face. Not handsome, really. But attractive. And nice. And strong-looking.
The weirdest part was, he seemed to recognize me, too, even though he could only have seen me for, like, five seconds that day in the park.

Avalon High was a really fascinating book and I thoroughly enjoyed it. It had excitement, romance, humor, and action. This novel starts out pretty slow, but near the end it really begins to pick up the pace. This book is wonderful and I'd recommend it to anyone. (:
